Congress Tries to Kill Internet Privacy Again with CISPA Bill. The Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA) was reintroduced Wednesday by the House Intelligence Committee. The bill is a controversial cyber security legislation focused on information sharing that emerged in 2012. House committee chairman, Mike Rogers (R-Mich) wrote the bill with Dutch Ruppersberger (D-Md.) hoping to facilitate real time data sharing between the government and the private sector.
